TG10 and the ESL have joined forces to host the online qualifiers for the TM-compo at The Gathering 2010, held in Hamar, Norway from the 31th of March to the 4th of April.
The qualifiers will be held on the next couple of Sundays and Thursdays, 7/3, 11/3, 14/3 and 18/3 at 17:30CET. 16 players will qualify directly into the playoffs at TG10 where they will battle for €2,700.
Registrations will open shortly on http://www.gathering.org/.
All of the qualifiers will start with a Time-Attack session of 5x3minutes where the best 16 players go on to the group phase (players will play all maps, then server-rank decides the top16). These 16 players will then play a single elimination bracket to determine wich 4 players get slots in the playoffs.
Everyone must meet up in #tg.game.tm on quakenet irc at 17:00 before each qualifier starts. Players must have an existing TG-ticket or buy one if they qualify for the compo. You MUST have a ticket to play at TG. Tickets can be bought from www.partyticket.net. Both foreigner and progamer -tickets are still available for those who qualify.
Admins will be Beasty(me) and Thobzter + ESL staff helping out with the ESL tourney/admin system.
Servers will be provided by tm.se.
